Αγάθων ἔφη· “τὸν ἄρχοντα τριῶν δεῖ μεμνῆσθαι· πρῶτον μὲν ὅτι ἀνθρώπων ἄρχει, δεύτερον ὅτι νόμους ἄρχει, τρίτον ὅτι οὐκ ἀεὶ ἄρχει.”
