Οὐδενὸς χρὴ πράγματος
τὸν εὖ φρονοῦνθ’ ὅλως ἀπογνῶναί ποτε.
ἁλωτὰ γίνετ’ ἐπιμελείᾳ καὶ πόνῳ
ἅπαντ’. ἐγὼ τούτου παράδειγμα νῦν φέρω.
